About

Curious by nature, maker by training.

I grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Houston, with a minor in Architecture. I started out designing physical products — housewares, exhibits, prototypes — before moving into digital product and UX.

That background shapes how I work: I lead groups, hold a sustained vision for collaborative efforts, and bring ideas from concept to manufacturing — or from research to shipped product. I like solving complex problems with simple, effective solutions and connecting people with beautiful experiences.

For the last several years I've worked as an Experience Lead and Lead UX Designer at Merkle — shaping strategy, running workshops, and coaching designers across complex, multi-workstream engagements. Before that I was the sole UX designer on a pricing tool now used across Shell's global chemicals business.

When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me working on cars — fixing anything from a flat tire to a blown piston.

"Every project is more challenging than the one before, and that's what pushes me forward. I love design's ever-changing environment — this is what makes me happy."
