Experience

Merkle · Experience Lead

Dec 2021 – Jul 2026

Led experience strategy and design on complex, multi-workstream engagements for enterprise clients, owning the experience deliverables end to end and partnering daily with strategy, UI design, and product.

  • Led experience strategy for GM Energy's ecommerce ecosystem, a home energy line launched with no prior digital presence, owning journey maps, personas, service blueprints, and end-to-end customer experience for a platform now serving 2.3M+ annual visits. Served as one of two primary UX points of contact through concepting and service mapping.
  • Launched the ecommerce experience and established its purchase and checkout flows, carrying eComm 2.0 from MVP through financing launch.
  • Built Disney-style storyboards across shopping, checkout, Energy Genie, installation, and an executive dashboard that aligned a 16-person cross-functional team of UX, UI, and product around a single narrative.
  • Identified an unmet need no one had scoped and produced a sales guide adopted across the entire GM Energy sales organization, remaining its primary point of contact.
  • Designed and independently facilitated a two-day visioning workshop for 20+ T. Rowe Price product owners and managers, owning strategy, agenda, and prep, and turning open ambiguity into a prioritized, actionable feature backlog. Participants noted they covered more ground in two days than they expected to.
  • Mentored one to two designers per engagement, provided creative direction, and presented design decisions and research to director and manager level stakeholders.

Shell – Agile Hub · Product Designer

Apr 2019 – Dec 2021

Designed data-dense enterprise products in an agile environment for the global chemicals business, with conceptual oversight on direction and strategy, partnering with a product manager and 12 senior developers and embedded with the chemicals-business product owner and SME.

  • Designed Shell's Pricing Excellence Tool end to end, from research and journey mapping through wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications. Now used across the global chemicals business and credited with $140M in added contract profits.
  • Grew weekly active users 186% at first release, with average session duration up 13.5% and shared analyses up 150% week over week.
  • Co-led the project kickoff workshop in Rotterdam with a UX lead, UX researcher, and PM, each running a segment and facilitating a breakout group among 15+ international participants.
  • Led workshops, interviews, and usability testing with global commercial teams, translating findings into design direction and strategy rather than a list of fixes.
  • Turned a highly technical pricing process into an interface commercial teams could read at a glance.

Softway · UX Designer

Aug 2017 – Jan 2019

  • Partnered with development teams through sprint planning and prototyping so intent survived into what shipped.

Advent · Industrial Designer

Feb 2015 – Aug 2017
  • Designed custom booths, POS displays, and showcases for exhibitions and commercial spaces, concept through fabrication.
  • Moved between designer, director, and engineer roles to hold design intent from first drawing through final build.
